Vintage Old Peugeot Freres Brevetes Wood Glass Pepper Mill Grinder Paris Lion Picture(s) and Description:
This is a great looking Peugeot Freres Brevettes S.G.D.G. Depose Valentigne Paris Pepper mill / grinder. We don't know when this was made but we think early to mid 20th century. The wood has a fantastic patina, we're not sure of the type of wood and though we have seen some describe it as teak we think it is a wood indigenous to France. It is in very nice condition with wear appropriate to age and use, there is a very good repair that we didn't notice until we got it home. Make sure you check out the pictures. The glass insert is nice and clear, the metal bottom has patinated over time. It will definately need to be cleaned. Please make sure you check out our other Eames era modern items! NOTE: Almost all the items we sell are vintage in nature. Many of these items have seen decades of use. Please expect a base line of wear. If you would like additional photos or if you have any questions please feel free to ask. If it is in perfect condition we will let you know but if not please do not expect a brand new item to land at your doorstep, it is vintage. We have a 5 business day handling time. We charge actual shipping plus a handling fee which is included in the price you see. We are not trying to make money on our shipping. By bidding on our item you are agreeing to pay the shipping cost quoted. Please do not buy if you intend to complain or leave low scores on our shipping and handling feedback ratings. Sometimes we accidentally overcharge, if that is the case we will issue you a refund. If we undercharge, which is very infrequent, we will let you know and either cancel the transaction or invoice you for the additional charges. You will likely have to pay customs or duty fees on your international purchases. We will not under any circumstances mark your international shipment as a gift so please do not ask. It is illegal.
